Preparing and cleaning the surface

1. Before proceeding to wash the surface with SCRATCH OFF CLEANER, it is advisable to clean
away any surface residues, such as dust, debris and coarse dirt, using a broom or a vacuum
cleaner,

Application 

2. The product can be used undiluted or it can be diluted in clean water, according to the
amount of dirt that needs to be removed:

– If used as strong degreasing cleaner to remove foot-traffic dirt, stubborn and aged dirt
the product should be diluted to 20-30% in water (1 part of product in 2/4 parts of
water)
– If used as simple cleaning products to clean a ceramic slab before the restoration the
product should be diluted to 10% in water (1 part of prduct in 9 parts of water)

Before apply the product on the whole surface make a preliminary test on a small portion of the
surface.

3. Apply the product in the selected dilution ratio to the surface, covering the whole area being
cleaned and distributing it evenly and vigorously with a white pad.

4. Leave the product to work for about 10-15 minutes, helping its dissolving action by passing
over with white pad at more or less regular time intervals, according to the difficulty in
removing the residues that need to be dissolved. This will boost the dissolving action of the
product and give you better results.

5. Remove the residues and rinse well with clean water. If the result is not completely
satisfying, repeat the operation, following the steps above. After the preliminary test, if the
surface shows resistance, the product can be used pure and with loger contact times.
