FABER GL 34 (A+B)

GL34/A and GL 34/B are the two components of a low-viscosity and solvent free epoxy system, not charged with fillers, reactive and with hardening at ambient temperature.

It is used to resin, the sealing and the hardening of marble, granite and natural stones slabs, but it could be also used for hardening by walls injection ad to waterproof porous and absorbent surfaces.

The system get a perfect catalysis at ambient temperature and at 20-25 °C the system get the maximum of its performances in just 10-15 days

CHARACTERISTICS AND BENEFITS

  •  High resistance
  •  Long-lasting performances

Marble, Granite and natural stones.

Application

Test on a small area before proceeding, so to ensure product suitability and final result.

The surfaces that need to be treated must be degreased and treated mechanically and/or
chemically before the application of GL 34 A+B.

Scrupulously respect the mixing ratio: every change in this ratio could irreparably compromise
the final performances of the hardened product. Carefully mix the two component with regular
movement, avoiding excessive turbulence that could cause air bubbles inside the mixture.
When the product is ready, apply to the interested surface by using a spatula or a brush. Then
remove the product in excess and wait for the product hardening.

Hardening

Even if the stone slab could be moved after the handling time (6-8 hours at 25°C), the product
reaches the maximum of its performances only after the complete hardening (8-10 days). If the
system get hardened by oven, its performances get immediately the maximum level. The ideal
solution should be to dry the surface by using hot air. This method ensures the best of the
product performances and faster production cycles.

Mechanical grinding/polishing

After 24 hours from the system application, the surface can be mechanically grinded and
polished.
