Product application:

Brush, Lambswool applicator, Roller, Cloth

Product polishing:

Mechanical, orbital or flexible floor polisher

Preparing and cleaning the surface

1. Carefully clean the surface, making sure to remove any dust or dirt present.

2. Never apply AT LUX to wet or damp surfaces

3. Apply AT LUX to surfaces with a temperature of between +5 and +40°C

4. Any adjacent surfaces not being treated with the product must be protected.

Application

5. Apply an even, abundant coat of product to a clean, dry surface with the preferred tool,
making sure to create an even layer to cover the whole surface being treated.

6. Wait about 5-10 minutes and in any case, before the coat of product has dried, then proceed
to distribute any product excess on the application area, taking care to even them out until the
finished surface is even and homogeneous. When working on small areas, this operation can be
carried out with a cloth or white pad. In case of larger surfaces, we recommend using a
mechanical polisher, complete with white pad. This operation may not be necessary on
particularly absorbent surfaces.

7. 30-60 minutes later but in any case on the completely dry layer of the product, proceed to
polish the surface. This operation can be carried out manually on small surfaces, using a woolcotton cloth, white or wire wool pad. In case of larger areas, we recommend using a tool such
as the traditional mechanical polisher (r.p.m. from 150/500) or high-speed mechanical polisher
(r.p.m. from 500/1500) or an orbital or flexible polisher, complete with white or lambskin pad,
or wire wool or similar. Work the surface, brushing or polishing until all excess has been
removed and the end result is both even and polished.

Drying time

The product is fast drying and in any case, no more than 1-2 hours from application.

Opening to floor traffic

The surface can be opened to floor traffic about 4-6 hours after the product has been applied.

Complementary Cleaning and Maintenace Products

– For routine cleaning of a surface treated with AT LUX, we recommend: NEUGEL

– For de-waxing a surface treated with AT LUX, we recommend: DEC 21 and/or DECERA P
