This product can be used on both indoor and outdoor surfaces.
Suitable for use on: marble, limestone; travertine; marble-cement agglomerates; marble-resin
agglomerates.
CRISTALFAB is suitable for application on all lime-based materials that have lost part of their
shine due to wear or foot traffic.

Single disc machine with at least 1.5 HP; manual rotary brush.
Faber Chimica is able to supply the WARRIOR single disc machine, which has a power of 2.2 HP,
and is optimised for the correct application of any product.

Preparing and cleaning the surface

1. Carefully clean the surface, making sure to remove any dust or dirt present. To prevent the
surface from becoming wet, we recommend dry cleaning with a suitable tool.

2. Never use CRISTALFAB on wet or damp surfaces; therefore, please ensure that the surface to
be treated is dry.

3. We recommend proceeding to apply the product in stages, covering surfaces approximately
1m2 at a time.

4. Never apply CRISTALFAB to excessively heated or overheated surfaces.

5. Any adjacent surfaces not being treated with the product must be protected.

6. Before proceeding with the crystallization product, we recommend pouring CRISTALFAB into a
spray applicator bottle. This serves to apply the product to the surface, notably speeding up the
work process. 

Application 

7. Shake the bottle thoroughly and spray a small amount of product directly onto the area to be
treated. Generally, about 3-4 sprays of product are enough to crystallize a surface area of 1 m2.

8. As soon as the product has been applied, proceed to polish the surface with the single disc
machine, fitted with steel wool crystallization pad and set to between 150 and 200 r.p.m. Pass
the single disc machine using concentric movements so as to distribute the product evenly over
the whole section being treated.

9. Continue to polish the same area until the product has dried completely (Spray Buffing
technique).

10. Pass on to the next section, repeating the crystallization treatment process as described
above.

11. After treating all of the surface areas, remove any steel wool residues from the surface using
a dry cloth (Dry mop) or a vacuum cleaner

In case of surfaces with greater wear or which are subject to a high degree of foot traffic, based
on the desired results, the area may require up to 3 consecutive product applications.

The product formulation will not cause overlap blemishes and therefore, once the maximum
surface shine has been achieved, there will be no difference or defects between the various
areas treated separately.

Drying time

12. After the product is completely dry, no further waiting time is necessary.

Opening to floor traffic

13. After carefully removing any steel wool residues, the floor can be opened for use.
