FABER POULTICE

FABER POULTICE is a powder thickener to use with certain stain removers in the Faber range. It adds consistency for application over longer periods and to be able to use products on vertical surfaces. It is inert towards the substances contained in the Faber stain removers with which it can be used.

A stain remover with the addition of FABER POULTICE will have a much thicker consistency for much longer contact time with stains compared to what is possible when using the same product in its liquid form. This boosts the efficiency of the whole stain removing process.

FABER POULTICE is normally used together with OXIDANT and NO RUG products, but that can also be used with all of the stain removers in the Faber range.

Application

Test on a small area before proceeding, so to ensure product suitability and final result.

The product has to be mixed in warm water 40-50°C before use.

Mix 1 part of EXTRACTOR with 1,5 parts of HYDROGEN PEROXIDE at 8% or, as an alternative,

with the same quantity of warm water, mixing until an homogeneous compound has been
obtained.

Apply an appropriate product quantity with a spatula to the stained area, leaving a generous
layer of product on it. Allow the compound to act on the surface FROM 1 TO 3 HOURS and
check now and then if the stain has been removed, by rinsing well with clean water.

There is not a precise interval of time to recommend, as it could take just a few minutes or
several contact hours, even one night, to remove the stain.

Once the product is removed, wait until the surface will be dry to check the obtained result. If
the stain still persists on the dry surface, but less intense, repeat application.
