MANU’ a water-based wax resin emulsion to be used as “a wash and wax” to maintain or restore flooring that has previously been treated with finishing wax that, due to time or floor traffic is looking worn. The formulation of MANU’ has been developed to be compatible with water-based wax polymers of all kinds and can therefore be used independently of the type of wax used beforehand.
The application of MANU’ as a “wash and wax” product will return the correct surface thickness, compensating for any abrasions, flaking or flaws and restoring the even surface of the existing wax coating, while at the same time, adding to the surface shine. MANU’ also leaves behind a pleasant and lasting fragrance.

Preparing and cleaning the surface
1. Carefully clean the surface, making sure to remove any dust or dirt present.
2. Never apply MANU’ to wet or damp surfaces.
3. Apply MANU’ to surfaces with a temperature of between +5 and +40°C
4. Any adjacent surfaces not being treated with the product must be protected.
The product is used diluted in clean water, according to the type of surface on which the wax
surface needs to be restored and the condition of the pre-existing wax layer.
For maintenance (regular treatment of a wax layer in good condition and with no specific signs
of wear):
– For compact and non-absorbent surfaces, such as textured stoneware and ceramics,
marble, granite, and natural stone with semi-polished finish and parquet, use in around
10% water (1 part product in 9 parts water);
– For textured, absorbent surfaces, such as cotto, terracotta, natural wood, marble,
granite, and tumbled natural stone with sanded or textured finish, use in around 20%
water (1 part product in 4 parts water);
To restore (treatment of a worn wax layer with signs of wear, scratches, abrasions, discolouring
and obvious aesthetic differences):
– For compact and non-absorbent surfaces, such as textured stoneware and ceramics,
marble, granite, and natural stone with semi-polished finish and parquet, use in around
20% water (1 part product in 4 parts water);
– For textured, absorbent surfaces, such as cotto, terracotta, natural wood, marble,
granite, and tumbled natural stone with sanded or textured finish, use in around 40%
water (2 parts product in 5 parts water);
Application
5. MANU’ is applied with a wash and wax technique: apply a thin, even coat of previously
prepared solution to a clean, dry surface using a mop, squeezed out so that it leaves an even
layer of product without creating excessive build up. Make sure to create an even layer to cover
the whole surface being treated.
6. In case of particularly absorbent or rough surfaces, for a greater coverage or restoration
effect, it is possible to apply a second coat around 2-3 hours from the first.
7. MANU’ is a self-polishing wax that once applied, will create an extremely polished effect. In
the event you wish to increase the surface shine, it is possible to do so using a traditional
mechanical floor polisher with white or lambswool pad. Wait a minimum of 3-4 hours for the
wax to cure and then clean the surface dry, polishing until the required surface shine is
achieved. Using a mechanical polisher also makes it possible to clean up any flaws created by a
build-up of product in a specific surface area, in case of application of two coats of product.
Drying time
The product is fast drying and in any case no more than 1-2 hours from application.
Opening to floor traffic
The surface can be opened to floor traffic about 4-6 hours after the product has been applied.
Complementary Cleaning and Maintenace Products
